Some people prefer to use synthetic stones over genuine stones because of the big price difference. You have to remember that walkways are placed under the mercy of sunlight, rain and snow. It is important that they stay durable. Colored stones arranged in a beautiful pattern will make the house look charming. Settle on a pattern which does not look too complicated. It is always nice to choose one which is soothing to the eyes.

Not every single landscape is ideal and having a rock garden will help in many of those areas.
