Don’t Be Misled By This – Rotary Lawn Edger Critique
I receive my package on time. I would have rather the shipping company or someone have boxed or wrapped the package but all in all it was a good experience. He says it is much nicer and easier to use than his old gas-powered edger. There you have it. Easy to clean up and place back on the wall storage hook next to all my other fun yard tools. The orange color matches my Husqvarna too!
It’ll save you time and travel, minor grief and heartburn despite any few dollar differences. I have had this for less than 6 months.
I was concerned an electric edger wouldn’t have the power to handle it, but there was more than enough power. The unit is very quiet too. Got ours a few days ago, and went to work. We have Zoisa in our front yard. It had a tough time with cutting through areas where sod had grown over the walk. I had to use an edging spade to prepare the way for the edger. Purchased to replace 30 year old B & D Edger – easier to use and great for sidewalks (you don’t need to carry it like string trimmers). It was total waste of time and money when I found that it was just not better than an electric toy. I had expected the edger to cut the grass cleanly. If you don’t want to deal with gas-powered edger, this is THE ONE.
This year, I finally made the purchase and have been completely satisfied with how this edger has helped make my gardening projects a breeze. I haven’t used this as a trencher yet, but can see the possibilities in the future for lighting installation, trenching and fence installation. Trimming them is a challenge that the B&D edger handles quite well. Some escape the first slice, but backing over them usually wins the battle.
Received Black & Decker LE750 edger and it worked just fine. Had no problems at all and it will do a good job for driveway edging.
It was purchased for me for my birthday (yeah I really did want this for my birthday). This past Sunday was nice so I decided to see how well this would do on edging my lawn. The edger does a great job where the edge of the sidewalk is vertical. Where the concrete is slightly tilted or curved, it does a reasonable job. Spend more time with the wife and kids by getting this tool! I have had this edge hog for a couple of years–and haven’t written a review on same.
Easy to use, multi-purpose…a bonus with the trencher and it works right. Precast Retaining Wall.
